Tunisia is advancing efforts to build stronger connections with Nigeria through expanded cooperation in culture, healthcare, and economic development. A high-level diplomatic engagement held in Abuja highlighted Tunisia’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships across key sectors.

The initiative places a strong emphasis on cultural collaboration, with plans to promote artistic exchange, heritage preservation, and creative industry growth between the two nations. Tunisia also introduced its growing role as a center for medical tourism in Africa, offering state-of-the-art healthcare services that could benefit Nigerian citizens seeking specialized treatment abroad.

In the economic arena, Tunisia invited Nigeria to participate in the 2025 International Conference on Financing, Investment, and Trade in Africa (FITA), taking place from May 6–7. The event is expected to draw more than 2,000 delegates from over 60 countries, providing a vital platform to explore new investment opportunities, forge business alliances, and drive regional trade.

This renewed engagement reflects a shared ambition to deepen bilateral relations and harness Africa’s collective potential through innovation, collaboration, and cultural synergy.
